  • Breads and baked goods
  • Main meals and snacks

Actual-sized pictures of foods have been used to make it easier to visualise food amounts. Your Dietitian may also encourage or advise you to weigh your food to estimate the carbohydrate content. This guide is designed to work alongside these other methods of carbohydrate estimation.
